where I’m blogging at now?
Head over to Chic & Cheap Nursery to see my first blog post. I’m showing you a few of my favourite Australian products.
It’s been quite some time since I’ve blogged any recent designs (if you follow me on facebook, you will have seen them on there). It’s high time I showed you some!
Oscar is moving from his cot into his big boy room and mum wanted to create a vintage vibe to his room using traditional red, white and blue colour scheme.
Sienna’s big girl room was one of my mini design packs. A feature wallpaper, amazing baby size chair and fun accents.
Plenty more to show you yet but that will do for now!
Things have been getting busy around here….my client list is growing, which means I’m spending more and more time in front of the computer screen! So things have had to change.
I’ve always worked off my laptop screen, so we went and purchased a BIG screen over the weekend, which means now I don’t have to squint to see the details on a design board (I had laser vision done about 9 years ago so all the squinting hasn’t been helping my eyes!). While I was there I also picked up a pen/drawing tablet which I’m hoping will make my photo shopping easier too (now to work out how to use it!).Not only has my computer screen gotten bigger, but so has my client whiteboard (yep, I’m old school). I know I can keep my current jobs on an spread sheet, but I like seeing what jobs I’m currently working on every time I walk into the office.
I’m so excited about Nest’s future as I have a number of other things (not just designing little one’s rooms!) in the pipeline. You will have to wait a bit to hear more about them though!
If you would like Nest to design a room for your little one (or little big one), I’m taking bookings for November now (spaces through November and December will be limited though). Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
